As I posted in the thread about Makeda we are going out on Sunday night with someone who thinks of herself as an adventurous eater. Any thoughts about where to go in New Brunswick or that immediate area? Thanks.

Metuchen--Mr Pi's for sushi

New Brunswick--Nova Terra or Soho on George.

I like Seven Hills of Istanbul in Highland Park also.

Thanks for the input. I have to agree with KimWB about Frog and the Peach. We just couldn't figure out what all the fuss was about. I'm leaning towards the Turish place but I'd appreciate any more suggestions.

Seven Hills was reveiwed in August issue of NJ Monthly.

One interesting adventurous place is Clyde's. I have tried several dishes there that I never was able to find again. Their specials have included, Wild Boar, Zebra, and Kangaroo. You never know what you are going to get when you go there.

Had kangaroo in Australia. It tastes like beef but not fatty and without the rich taste of beef. I don't need to ever have it again.
