Those are the avocados I get here and they're 5-6 in a mesh bag.
The thing about avocados is that they mature on the tree however only ripen after being harvested and at room temp. So they're shipped refrigerated, and in my experience usually rock hard, so just put them in the frig crisper to impede the ripening.
Take one out when you plan on having one to ripen (may take a day or three).
