Hmmm. Is it just me, or is that yellow bottle closest to the camera Greek olive oil?

Shouldn’t be too surprising. I notice a lot of modern Japanese blogs call for olive oil. Guess the marketing must’ve really worked.

All my local supermarkets sell olive oil. It is a new thing though. 20 years ago, I couldn't find it at all.

Still, most of it used as a skin conditioner. It is seldom used in Chinese cooking, yet strangely she uses it in many of the recipes on her site. As well as avocado oil, which I've never seen in China. We only recently started getting avocados .

(Does anyone agree with me that that is a hideous looking website with way too much advertising and sponsorship?)

Initially yes. Then I seemed to be able to reach a point where much of the clutter disappeared. Not quite sure how I did it!

I do not agree. To me the site is clean and quite informative, but I have AdBlock and highly recommend it if you can use it on your platform and hate ads. Mine was free and I think, but cannot swear, it still is. It runs on Chrome and is available for iPhone and a few others. I find it funny that it blocks ads on its own site that I linked to. That is integrity.

I agree.  It is a very "busy" site.
