I doubt it. Not many Chinese people are interested in anything other than their own food. A few in Beijing and Shanghai maybe; few outside those cities. And the censors and translators aren't able to detect the "dude  tone". They don't get the pragmatics.

 

I've spent the afternoon going through it and, while it is on the surface a good translation,  it is clear they miss the undertows of language. No blame to them. That is the deepest peril of translation.
