Sechuan/Sancho Buttons aka Jambu, Paracress and Toothache plant

So I got my hands on some of these buttons, as I love sechuan pepper and thought I could use them in a stirfry. I figured that these would taste fresher than the pepper, but they're not related. It gives a similar mouth numbing experience though. My 'dealer' got them for a client who lost most of her ability to taste. Appeareantly they are enhancing.
Looks like they shouldn't be heated at all, so I'm thinking of blending it with fruit juice or something for a virgin cocktail.

Has anyone tried these? Suggestions are welcome!

I don't think the main attraction of Sichuan Peppercorns is their numbing quality, interesting as it may be, but their flavour. Sancho buttons are totally different.
