If you're going to Wegman's in Bridgewater check out Georges Meat in Raritan Boro. I have not been there in about a year but used to be an excellent Italian butcher shop. Also check out Hind and Fore Meat market on rt 28 in Bridgewater. Both places only a mile or so from Wegman's.

John's Meat Market in Scotch Plains is quite good, at least for beef (the only thing I've tried there). They have dry-aged prime beef. You can find them at http://www.johnsmarket.com/
