Hello , My heat gun has stopped working. l use it to seal and shrink wrap boxed chocolates. Also for heating the molds and keeping chocolate warm. Any suggestions on a good brand would be appreciated ? The one I had only lasted about 2 to 2 1/2 yrs.

My favorite is a Hejet. I've picked up several from e-bay. They have a nice stainless cage so don't melt like previous plastic heat guns I've gone through. They are considerably quieter than some of my previous heat guns too.

I prefer the HJ 500 series with the larger diameter opening.

I've got to be honest and say I use the cheapest heatgun that was at the hardware store and it has been superb.
