On the Black Horse Park, spanning Washington Township and Blackwood you have Meloni's Butcher Block, Aversa's Bakery, Cacia's Bakery, Alfred's Tomato Pies, and Dad's Stuffings. Dad's and Meloni's are top quality butchers in addition to offering some of the finest prepared to cook at home entrees on the planet. Cacia's has the breads and pizzas that made the South Philly store famous, and Alfred's is regularly mentioned in the same breath as Delorenzo's tomato pies. Aversa's Bakery also has excellent prepared foods, carries DiBruno Bros. cheeses and spreads, and has a full line of breads, pastries and cakes. There is also an Italian Village store that I have yet to try, but I have heard good things about their Maple Shade location. If anyone has a comparable list of quality stops within such close proximity, I would love to hear about it.
