Hi, new to the forums and fairly new to the restaurant/cooking business and I am wondering about individuals experiences with upper scale hotel cooking, benefits/vacation, wages, room to work up, best places to work, or anything else to look out for.

there's a lot of stuff already written with regard to your query...please be more specific:

your geographical location?

willing to move?

your experience level/jobs you've held before?

what exactly are you looking for?

you can always check out reviews of restaurants, particularly in the las vegas (southwest) forum, to get an idea of individual restaurants which are run by hotels. vegas is in a class by itself when it comes to hotels and their restaurants.
