  1. Bruce, I too, thought Bacardi was rum until 2000, when a Swiss friend introduced me to El Ron de Cuba As a substitute, I like: La Flor De Caña ® Rums - Slow-aged for an incredibly smooth taste. Brugal Rum & Appleton's

  4. I agree that Flor De Caña ® Rums - Slow-aged for an incredibly smooth taste. www.flordecana.com compare with Brugal.
  5. While still prefer HC7 or Varadero 7, Brugal Rums are a very good substitute, as well as Flor De Caña ® Rums.
