  3. I store some flours and my yeast in the freezer. I add a 20 minute timer on top of the "Rest" period of my bread machine (about 20 minutes).

  9. @Smithy, why do you open the sandwich after it has been in the press to add sauerkraut and lettuce? I'm thinking that the panini cookbook I got from the library had the cook assemble the sandwich in toto before grilling.

  11. I have a lot of trouble trying to wash out plastic bags. They're slimy and greasy, yuck. So the reusable silicone bags sit in the closet . . . 😎

  13. When does miso expire? There's hardly any gone out of the container; sometime in the summer I put some on eggplant, tasted okay; but it's really old.
