This is how I do the Minh brand of eggrolls from Costco. Place the frozen egg rolls in the air fryer basket and spread out into a single even layer. No oil spray is needed. Air Fry at 340°F/170°C for 10 minutes. Flip the egg rolls over. Increase heat to 400°F/205°C and Air Fry for another 2-5 minutes or until cooked through and crispy. Edited to add that I have a Cosori 5.8 quart so your mileage may vary.

I use an iPad. There is no physical keyboard. I would not like to drown it but if I spill something on it and quickly wipe it off there is nothing to worry about. No crumbs in my keyboard! Snacking while eGulleting is not an extreme sport.

I think I finally figured out that it is assumed that if one is snacking while browsing the forums one must have a keyboard. But like @DuvelI own nothing with a keyboard!

Well that’s good to know because I’ve read that post 100 times trying to figure out where the laptop came in.

I would happily dig right in. Good for you.

This could be part of the problem. “thick-cut from a local butcher” Here we tend to use pork belly.

Brought to mind a North American diner.

Good point. I am trying to imagine bun-shaped rondelles made from spaghetti that has been cooked for so long that I can’t imagine it could still hold together. And what the hell is a bun-shaped rondelle anyway?
-
But surely the saving grace is that after 45 minutes of cooking it would be tasteless and could be harmlessly ditched into the nearest plant pot. Or perhaps it’s the Seasoning that saves it?

I believe it is called a tart tamper.

It’s not the place to debate it so I won’t.

I am guessing Jewish history accounts for the visceral reaction to this which you will not find when we call a section of a city Chinatown or Koreatown.

I am not an intuitive cook either which is why I follow recipes the first time as though they were handed down to me by Archangel Michael.

@lindag i’m sorry the soup did not turn out for you. I followed the recipe to a T.

That fried egg sandwich is calling out to me. I’m not a huge fan of egg salad but I can see me making and eating something like that. No ham on hand but I could sub with some mortadella!

I am not seeing it so I guess my eyes are still not so great!

It is certainly available from Amazon in Canada.

So I admit that this is likely stretching the definition of gift to its breaking point. Every once in a while when my granddaughter does a curbside pick up of our groceries we find odd things included. These are apparently complimentary samples. For the most part they go directly into the bin. Sometimes without even a taste. Sample #1 I decided I would at least try this. I like coffee and at one time I was happy to have the classic Coke once in a while although I haven’t indulged for years. Poured over ice it foams much like root beer. It has a most peculiar and unpleasant smell. I have no idea where this might originate. It dissipates somewhat after it has been poured for a while. I don’t think I will even attempt to describe the taste. Next up Humble Chips. These are sea salt and cider vinegar flavoured. They disappeared into my granddaughter’s stash of snacks. Finally. Vegan sausages. At the moment I can only shudder but I have tossed them into the fridge and perhaps at some point I will screw up my courage enough to investigate further.

Thanks for reminding me about this. I was able to order a jar of ‘Nduja spread. It’s been so long I almost cannot remember the taste so I’m looking forward to it.

@KennethT Amazing, amazing photographs and videos. Some of the scenery looks almost unreal as if it’s part of a painting.
