Article on Tasting Table about coffee shop in Cartagena Colombia. Arzayus roasts these beans with four different methods that range from a rustic hand pot to a popcorn machine. "I discovered that people in Mexico put corn with the coffee, and when the corn explodes, the coffee is ready," he explains. http://www.tastingtable.com/drinks/national/colombian-coffee-cafe-del-mural-cartagena?utm_medium=email&utm_source=TT&utm_campaign=Daily&utm_content=Editorial

Love that little bit of mayo dripping out!

I pre-ordered Joule. My justification was the small size. We like to rent an apartment or a house when we travel (say, our upcoming trip to Napa Valley) and it will be easy to bring Joule along. May be I just wanted a new toy

Steak was cooked rare. Texture was good. It was tender but pieces held their shape well. Onions were the best part!

Did not think that I needed instant pot but now using it daily. Jasmine rice cooked one part water to one part wet rice ratio on rice setting.

Pristine Branzino purchased at Whole Foods. Politely declined for the fish to be scaled and gutted. Scaling was not needed, it was steam baked at 350 degrees in CSO for 25 minutes and fillet carefully removed with large thin fish spatula. I was happy to gut it myself, ended up with delicious liver. Ready to cook, slivers of garlic and ginger added for flavor Pit was served with plain rice, white on white photo was not very interesting but the fish was delicious. Left over carcass and skin.

I leave water in reservoir all the time without leaking. Sometimes for a week or longer if I teavel. The only leaking I had was when I forgot to empty drip tray after multiple uses of steam.

Squash from the neighbors garden sautéed with tomatoes. Grilled hot dogs were eaten before photo was taken. It was a rather late breakfast after walking on the beach and everyone was hungry.

Pork kebabs grilled on an electric Weber grill cause our building does not allow anything else. Potatoes roasted in Cuisinart steam boy. Lao gan ma on the side. A glass of rose.
