I looked at ( red ) meat prices the other day @ MarketBasket I rarely get RM , for no particular reason I favor turkey these days but they had some very nice looking meat and the price surprised me a bit : the few items I used to get are all over $ 10 USD but they were well marbled and nicely trimmed ! supermarket packaged ' choice ' flap meat : sirloin tips and the first time i saw this : TriTip trimmed as thick steaks.

@Ann_T that meal looks Sooooo tasty . I rarely cook BBR's I can't image ' splitting ' them sooo ; did you use two and put the stuffing in-between them ?
-
@Kim Shook Im very pleased you are working w SV. it doesn't do everything , but what it does it does perfectly , once you train your set-up total time in a bath is + / - by a reasonable amount once you met the time for tenderness that suits you. ""s white pork "" ie the loin ( the larger muscle ) can be transformed from dry and flavorless to something very different . most people would like `140 F but 135 and lower to 130 f ( w the appropriate time change for tenderness ) tender , juicy , flavorful ( your rub or coating ) cheers

@Dejah i agree w you : ' brown ' gravy over very crisp iceberg ( w the chicken breaded , as above ) in an unexpected treat . while the iceberg is very crisp wait too long and the iceberg looses its crispness :

@jedovaty the Balmuda is very interesting. I don't think moisture heats up quicker than air but if it makes excellent toast as the CSO does do to the CSO being sealed , and moisture comes from the bread ... Id be careful w a CSO ; is it new ? there might be no warranty as cool as the Balmuda is , why do you add a little water ? this might work , but if the oven has a tight seal a la CSO this should not be necessary but it might work very well price is the same for you ? is the size of the B similar to the CSO ? can you return the B if you dont like it ? dont be in a hurry but your toast is waiting ...

@JoNorvelleWalker nice. hope the lawyers got a nice ''pizza '' of their choice right out of that oven you see @ MC facilities no cold beer. sorry brew their own.
-
@Duvel interesting do you then use that oil in the dish ?
-
@Chris Hennes the cheese on that pizza looks delicious. just the way I like it
-
Crust ( wheat flour based ) + toppings = Pizza No Cauli , etc.
-
@Toliver excellent points. who ever put this ' up ' sent some time doing it but as @JoNorvelleWalker pointed out : page count , author clearly fake seems like that might have been taken care of by the scammers ? I called Amazon about a telephone scam suggesting an onder on my Visa ( I don't have a Visa right now ) was fine , unless i didn't place it and pushing #1 would get me to Amazon customer service to sort it out . Eastern European accent Amazon had absolutely no interest in looking into this nor did the Dot.Gov Do Not Call Cabal.
-
leave it to Amazon to look for an extra buck anywhere it can. so much for Amazon's AI filtering of junk. if ordered , what would one get ?
-
interesting so .... what is this ?
-
wonder if this is correct : there is a paperback edition ? https://www.amazon.com/MP-Modernist-Pizza-Ruby-deluca/dp/B09JBKVH8L/ref=sr_1_2?dchild=1&keywords=Modernist+Pizza&qid=1634563298&s=books&sr=1-2 significantly cheaper

@lindag as far as I can tell your system does not sell extra containers , correct ?
-
sorry about the Caps. asked to have it changed .

I can't see the Revenue'Rs USA bothering w this and checking them checking the sales list is a bit (reddish-phycosis-ey) but well , there it is. however in Moonshine States both sides are going to be all over this. MoonShine Hunting is a regional pastime. they even made movies about it , I think . the Huning part.
-
@lindag I like your set better no only is it a little cheaper its in Red. you plug in the Vac to charge it ? thanks

Ive been thinking about something like this : https://www.zwilling.com/us/zwilling/tools/storage/fresh-and-save/ I think there are version w a hand pump for containers anyone have something like this ? and you got it because ..... and use it for ...... or its in a box somewhere in your basement ? my potential use is for home roasted coffee which I now Chamber Vac when I roast several batches at the same time. Im getting a new grinder and it grinds single dose ( you decide which basket you are going to use 21 gm 22 gm 25 gm etc weigh the above , and grind for espresso etc. a bit ' fussy ? you say , grinding by weight but it solves a variable ( how much ground coffee do you p8t in your portafilter ) if you have a continuous grind machine. some higher end ones have a time you can set. the Ceado grinder Im getting grinds exactly what you put in the ' open air ' hopper . thus each espresso might be a different ( home ) roasted variety back to back. hard to do w a hopper full of beans back to the question : anyone have something like this ? hand pump versions ?

interesting. https://boozemakers.com/home-distilling-laws-by-state/ """ The State of Missouri, for example, theoretically allows the manufacturing of 100 gallons of liquor per year (but, as mentioned, it is still federally illegal). Other states that theoretically allow moonshining are Alaska, Arizona, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, Ohio, Rhode Island. ""

this seems to be the pizza they make a demo video. they mention the consistency of the sauce is quite loose , and the high heat evaporates some of it. but their oven might be different than yours. in their video they raised the pizza on it peel for a few seconds at the end to finish the top. very interesting. might be tough to do in an O.K.
