I had one plant last yr ( gift from my Asian friend who owns a sushi place ) .. Now look I usually eat mine with Daikon and artesianal soy.. but will entertain other options?

Did a reverse sear.. Burgers for (My Baby) Mothers Day This is home ground chuck, trimmed and ground #10 grind.( large cell ) -- sorry medical chat This was cooked 250 about 45 mins to 125F __ no center lift here Seared on Plancha.. salt pepper only

So this weekend I made Cauliflower Rice -- I took just the florets of cauliflower , no stems , and processed them in a food processor So raw, I then added parsley, coriander, red pepper flake, salt and pepper dressed with a lime/ vinaigrette So this was raw.. I really like this idea. and was wonder what other preparations I can use or you guys have done. Raw , stir fry'd or roasted. what ever and what other things do you add? Cheers Paul

Green Chili stew Made a stock with chxn in pressure cooker --usual stuff plus guajillo peppers cooled and de-fatted over night Grilled and peeled Pablano peppers ( that's whats avail ) Fried stewed pork with onions and garlic with cumin--add to Pressure cooker with above stock cook 10 mins@15 psi Fry Tomitillos, cook Juanita's Hominy in Chxn stock 45 mins add hominy to pressure cooked pork stock, and blend tomitillios and pablano in reserved hominy stock add to pot cook 30 mins add cubed potato cook 15 mins Sorry for spelling errors

When I make Sunday Gravy/ Sugo..btw This is a longer cook sauce I do a fair amount of digging in the freezer to find what is available to use. One criteria I like to stand by is a bit of bone in the pot with a nice amount of marrow. I add sausage to my sauce also.. ours is fennel based. Maybe her hot dog addition helps up the salinity Me.. I dont eat package dogs any more, so I would not see it see it. But Grandma is old style.. as said early whats good for Grandma. you just have to Bless her heart Cheers

Happy Easter -- I usually try to cook family type meals for the holidays My offering of today's Braciole Simply meat of the day ( whats looking good-- flank ). a cut of Ham ( Prochute or Serrano ), Now fresh bread ( egg bread today ) , garlic , parsley, boiled eggs -- today I used Asiago and Romano.. top meat with seasoning.. roll and braise

@kayb I actually salt.. place on paper towels.. and press with something. for zucchini.. for over night when I make zucchini parmesan. FWIW Cheers Paul

I promised @Rotuts a look at my finished meat ( s/p/garlic powder) . Sorry no internal shot.. Just a nice hot Weber at first @ 600 F and then drop the temp to finish Side salad beets/ balsamico/ goat cheese/Rocket. White pepper/ Pink salt Cucumbers in lime juice

Thanks for the in-put.. My daughter lives in Rio Rancho, just moved there with out 3 yr old grand son. Our palate is diverse and we love trying different things. We will be heading to Sf in the future.. I appreciate your thoughts and thanks for the above link. Paul
