  3. I have a problem with my BSOA and would like to know if anyone else has had the same experience and if so, what did they do about it. When I turn it on to, say, bake at 350F and set the timer for 30 minutes the timer keeps flashing. Maybe 5 to 10 minutes into the pre-heat function the oven quits. Everything just shuts off.

  6. Thank you for that explanation. It confirms that it is not what I am looking for. I'm looking to replace Evernote with something else. Ever since they "upgraded" it to something "better" I can't print from it unless I buy their "premium" version. I don't mind paying for something but I resent it when they upgrade something and take away an existing feature in the process.
  7. @blue_dolphin Are you saying that if I enter my cookbooks and if a do a search on them for say, fish, the actual recipes will not show up? Only the list of ingredients? If so, does that also apply to recipes on blogs when one does a search on those? I have gone to the site but I need to study it more to make sense of it.

  14. My sister brought me an 11 quart basket of ripe, just of the tree peaches this weekend. I would like to freeze most of them. Can I just cut them in quarters, remove the pits and freeze them SKIN ON? I have frozen tomatoes whole and when I use them, i put them in hot water for a couple of seconds and the skin slips right off. Same thing with peaches?

  19. I like it also, it was @Smithy who put me on to it. I don't use it for fresh sandwiches though. I keep it in the freezer and it makes spectacular peanut butter and toast.
  20. @Luke That looks interesting. What is "spiced fruit bread mix"? Is this something you buy or make yourself?
  21. @paulraphael I'm trying to understand this. Are you saying the juice that the sugar that has drawn out of the fruit will be reabsorbed into the fruit? Or is it the sugar that is absorbed into the fruit. What then, do you do with the juice? Sorry if this is a stupid question.

  24. They have a pot you can use with induction? Can you buy it separately? One thing I have noticed is the non-stick pot is not very non-sticky. If anyone is thinking of buying it, I would say "don't bother".
  25. If you don't use sauté what do you use? I find sauté uneven as well but I think that's because the pot is raised a bit in the middle.
