Thank you! How important is the wheat bran, given I don't have any and don't want to buy a package of it only to use 1 Tablespooon? Edited to add: never mind, I picked some up today. BTW, did you bake yours in a Pullman pan?

Do you have a link to that recipe or did you use his book?

That should be good eating. It looked like a lovely piece of meat.

Let's say I just checked mine and found that my black cocoa is well passed it best before date but I 'd still use it. As long as it doesn't smell or taste "off".

And may you continue to do so. Happy Birthday!

@Tropicalsenior. Do you drain the pineapple and use 1/4 cup of the drained juice or do you use the whole can juice and all, plus an additional 1/4 cup juice? I love one bowl cakes, and thank you for the recipe. -

No i haven't. I'm wondering if I should give @Tropicalseniora nudge. -
@BostonBestEats. Thank you for your response. I appreciate it. A quick look at the video convinced me that I and my two thumbs were not about to take the oven apart, never mind putting it back together. Neither is my equally talented husband. I did finally get a reply from Anova at 10:38 PM last night. I don't mind if they ask me to put some water in the tank and give it a test run as per @blue_dolphin's suggestion, but I'd be afraid to operate it with a full tank of water in case the ghost in the machine comes back. We'll see what they say.

I don't disagree with your statement about not expecting a reply on a Saturday or Sunday. I know from other reports I've read that they take a long time to reply but when they do, the response from them has been very good. I do think they should get rid of the comment about getting back to you in 24 hours. By Friday it was 72 hours already.

It has been 4 days since I wrote to Anova. I called yesterday and a real live person answered the phone. Due to the background noise I had a hard time following what he was saying but he did say I'd be hearing from them before the day was out. Well, that did not happen and I have heard nothing today. I called again and left a message which is not likely to do me any good. Does anyone have a phone number for them other than 855-421-8282? At the moment I have determined that due to the abysmal customer service, I will never, ever buy anything from them again. And yes, I'm more than a little PO'd.

@Kerry Beal I'm in the ketchup with scrambled eggs group. I can't imagine eating them without it. -

Please pick me up on your way through. -
This is what I have: Left to right, gochujang mild, gochujang sauce and gochujang hot. The sauce is actually labeled as a paste but John use it as a sauce.

@Pete Fred. Who eats all those goodies? -
@Anna N. Now that I think about it, the $8.99 ptice might be a delivery price? Also, i forgot to thank you for finding that the product is indeed available here.

You are so right. I had never noticed them at Loblaws, possibly because I stopped using the powder/blocks in favour of Best for Bullion and Savory Choice so wasn't browsing in that area. It is now on my grocery list. It was interesting to me that Fortino's, part of the Loblaws group charges a buck more per bottle.

I'd like it too but I have never seen it here. Amazon carries some salt-free bullion but it's about $30 plus or 75 grams.

Nice to hear they are still that size.
