  1. I agree. I sure wish we had dining patios like that. They're beautiful.
  2. I just finished reading the reviews. They are hilarious. I read a review by Giles Coren once that had me in stitches, but it was a long time ago and I don't remember the name of the restaurant. It was so funny I remember I read it several times.
  3. I'll help! I'll help! I love fresh cherries and those are beauties.
  4. We have it on tape but haven't started watching it yet.
  5. I'm like that with pie crust. Pillsbury is my friend.
  6. Spectacular. I am loving your posts and your pictures. Two friends of mine used to go on yearly visits to Hydra and loved it. Unfortunately for me, they never took pictures!
  7. I need to stop following this thread.
  8. @blue_dolphin That bread looks amazing.
  9. Thank you. The current purchase is spread out, unwashed, on a sheet tray in the fridge. I'll try this on my next batch.
  10. Vinegar dunk method?
  11. In the second food picture, are those small jars of honey? If yes, did you have any?
  12. I don't know yet.
  13. I have one of those but I never use the red thing. The debris rinses right out. Best garlic press I've ever had.
  14. I will never again put my Anova sous vide circulator in a pot of water before checking to see that it is right side up.
  15. Or if you're not sure, peut être.
  16. I have the spoon too.
  17. I'm not sure why I still have it as I can no longer eat grapefruit.
  18. I am sooo looking forward to this. Regarding honey, a Greek shop here sells Greek honey. It's fabulous.
  19. Or in the bedroom?
  20. Almost enough to make me want to eat French toast. It looks and sounds delicious.

    Jiffy love

Well, for heaven's sake! I can't believe I read the whole thing and missed that sentence. Thank you.

    Jiffy love

I got some Jiffy cornbread mix from Amazon. I read through the article and while she states the mix-in quantities, she doesn't say how much of the mix to use. Any idea? If not, I could probably just wing it.
  23. I use buttermilk for scones. When I buy a quart, I use 1 cup in the recipes I make, and freeze the rest in baggies in one cup portions. The only thing I do when I thaw a cup is to blend the buttermilk well as freezing tends to separate it.
