Sure! Batter is a beer batter. Equal parts of flour and cornstarch--I usually do 1\2 a cup each Season--I like to use Lawry's salt, but plain salt is great or you could do something like a Cajun seasoning Drizzle beer in --I like a lighter beer ...we usually have Bud Light around so that's my normal. Pour the beer in a little at a time until you can drag a fork through and it leaves a faint trail on the surface. Edited to say--I bet the chicken is good the next day...but I wouldn't know because we ate it all 😄

She's right. It's really good. I didn't have the potato starch that I thought I had, so I used corn starch. I think it worked just fine. Miso Aioli to dip the chicken in Chicken and a few of the egg rolls I made and froze a while back Drunken noodles Pizza night--sausage, jalapeño, black olive and mushroom It's been pretty cold here for a stretch of days so I did a big pot of vegetable soup. Need to do that more often. Makes good lunches. Big sandwiches to go with. Fried catfish and a few shrimp And last night was goose and noodles from the last goose that Ronnie got.

@shainYour blue cheese looks amazing. @Ann_TI just roasted some chicken, but now I want turkey. And scallops. One of Ronnie's faves is broccoli, cheese and rice casserole. I had some fresh broccoli that needed to be used --and Cheese Whiz! Don't judge lol. Roasted chicken and breaded tomatoes to go with We smoked some turkey breasts a while back and froze them. Handy to throw in the SV bath and have big 'ole sandwiches. Last night was more SV--a pork tenderloin Salad, potatoes, gravy and some Brussels sprouts on the side

No, it's a whole sandwich......but it doesn't get soggy at all. In fact, it gets better after a day or so.

I've done both. The biggest challenge is the bread--and I don't do too bad at that--but, this year I'm ordering from Central Grocery in LA. Their store was shut down due to hurricane Ida. Pretty sure it still is. I thought it would be good to order and help them out...plus I love their bread . The sandwiches are getting here a few days early, but I think they will store fine in the fridge. If not, we will eat them a bit early and do something with shrimp.....or crawfish if I can get some here.

I have my usual Muffuletta on tap. I just love 'em. Have some oysters, too. Might have the sandwiches a bit early and see if I can get some frozen crawfish tails......

Ohhh that looks soooo good. I like pasta of mostly any shape.......with that I'd maybe do a thicker Alfredo or even a Mac and cheese. But I'd for sure eat it like you made it.

Ah ha! Thanks for the tip. The picture on Goldbelly has the Whiz on top. I can see where it would be better on the bottom. As for the pork and rabe, no, I didn't see that offered. And, once again, this is why I love you guys. Excellent.

I couldn't hit like to this due to the ex. But I like the rest . I'm excited we have 2 more to eat. I gotta get more Cheese Whiz, though. We really put a hurt on that last night lol.

Had a package of venison burger thawed out that needed to be used so I made more meatballs. And, since it had been a while, fresh pasta. Got a lot of little sweet peppers from Misfits this week so I was looking for ways to use them. Ran across a recipe for a salad. Slice the peppers and some red onion thinly. Dress with fresh dill, salt, pepper, a bit of vinegar and some olive oil. Really good. Dinner--with the non-acceptable garlic bread on the side 🤣

They felt frozen--I didn't unwrap them. They were wrapped as shown above and then in a big plastic bag that was tightly wrapped around them. A couple packs of ice--I can't remember if it was dry ice or a regular ice pack. There was confusion. On the Goldbelly site it says that if they arrive frozen then they are fine to put in the freezer. But, on the plastic bag they came in there was a big sticker that said DO NOT FREEZE. Well, seeing as how these arrived like 5 days before the game, I didn't feel comfortable leaving them in the fridge so into the freezer they went. Around noon yesterday I took them out and let them thaw on the counter. I unwrapped them so the bread wouldn't get soggy. Reheated in the CSO at 300F for about 10 mins. Worked like a charm. The other two sandwiches are waiting for a future dinner in the freezer. I'm glad he liked them! The meat was so good. I liked the texture--thinly chopped up. And, of course, the Cheese Whiz.

Yes, I thought it was a good game too. I was rooting for Cinci, but I do love me some Vaughn Miller so I'm happy for him. Commercials were at least a little better this year. I laughed at a few of them. Half time was very meh. And I like rap music. We started out with some taquitos that I ordered from Goldbelly. We like them. Array of green chili and cheese, shredded chicken and Chile con carne. Came with a dipping sauce that I didn't care for until I added some salt, cumin and hot sauce. Then it was ok. Salsa that I had was better. For the main we had Philly cheese steak sandwiches. I've always wanted to try authentic ones--you guys on the East coast can tell me if these hit the mark or no. Got them from Pat's. The King of Steaks in located in Philly. Comes with 4 huge sandwiches. And a good amount of Cheese Whiz. We loved them. Deviled eggs, fries and a pepper salad to go with.

My first thought. Second thought was Mr. Whipple the tp guy. Don't squeeze the beans!

Can't wait to see. I love lemon pepper. Also, I'm trying to control my envy that you have that much fridge space open for trays of wings.
