    Dinner! 2012

Oh Kim {{{hugs}}} I'm so sorry for your loss. I certainly remember Ted and he will be missed. You and your family are in my prayers.
  3. It's so pretty there. I bet when the leaves begin changing it's stunning. I laughed at the mailbox. I think if I did that here in Kansas that would be a federal crime.
  4. Looks delicious! I definitely will be making this.

  6. Hi Dave!!! I'll be glued here all week. I love the pics of the horses and the surrounding scenery. I don't think I could have passed up one of those sausages.
  7. Can't wait to see it, David!
  8. They are really cute, though!

    The Fresh Pasta Topic

How long can it stay in the fridge? Every time I've made it, I go ahead and roll it all and cut it and then I have a heck of a time finding a place to store it. Plus, a lot of it ends up broken.

    The Fresh Pasta Topic

That is some gorgeous pasta. I could eat that morning, noon and night. I have that pasta drying rack that Frogprincess showed us in my basket on Amazon. Can't wait to order and get it. It's perfect! So, I have a question. How do you guys store your freshly made pasta? Or, do you only make as much as you will eat for one meal?
  13. Oh man, I've wanted to buy the main set so badly, but I can't justify the cost (yet). This is still expensive, but far more do-able. I'M IN!!!!!!!!!!

    Dinner! 2012

Looks FANTASTIC! What did you use for sauce? The ones I've had always use a mustard base that is good, but I think I'd like some kind of tomato base better.
  16. YUM. Can you mail me a breakfast?lol
  17. Well, I finally did it. And, I used the seeds. Hard little suckers, aren't they? I tasted a few on their own. They were bitter and kind of curry-ish. And, I LOVED the butter chicken. Thanks to all of you that helped me out Here's the link on the dinner thread. I took pictures

    Dinner! 2012

I come here almost every day to see what you guys have made so I can drool. I haven't posted for a while...I haven't made anything new or interesting for quite some time. BUT....... I finally made butter chicken and naan last night. Thank you so much to all of the people that helped me on the Fenugreek seed thread! I've never cooked this kind of food before. OMG the butter chicken was flavored soooooo.....DEEP. The sauce was so rich that you got full after just a few bites. I might have had more for breakfast this morning. I wonder is butter chicken one of those dishes that varies from house to house? I think some chunks of peppers and onions would be good in there, too, along with the ones that got blended up for the sauce. The naan wasn't nearly as scary to make as I thought it would be. However, I'm not sure if it's too thick or too thin or just right? I've never seen it in real life before.
