    Take a minute

they are fun. if you guys could change his "TN" to "WTN", it would be *super* easy to search on these. edit: although this contains a bunch, if not all, of them. (searched on "199 OR 200" and user "tjaehnigen"...yeah, i need to find a hobby or something)

actually, they steam up quite nicely following the directions of ripping open the plastic bag and throwing them in the microwave. i wouldn't bother with an oven or steaming, although i've never tried either.
  3. i hate when stuff like that happens.
  4. are they at the Arts and Music Festival?
  5. i think elyse is bringing some of her famous pecan pie. although, with 70+ people, it seems we might need some people to double up on some items.
  6. Oh, definitely, everyone there, no matter their shape or size or age or whatever, was annoyed. oh. it sounded like you were preaching some sort of weight-ism or something. it just rubbed me the wrong way.

sorry. imadouche. i misread. frozen WCs were introduced in 87, according to their website. carry on. pretend i'm not here.
  8. james, i think it's safe to say that *everyone* is invited. if you don't want to cook, i'm sure we'll need stuff like paper goods, ice, soda, water, etc. i suppose someone is compiling a list somewhere. i hope you can make it. Editor's Note: There's a list above. I didn't want to do my own post, because I'm using them as place-holders for when I edit the RSVP list. Rachel
  9. is the bar big enough for walk-ins? name the day. i'm pretty excited to try this place actually. well actually i'm pretty excited to try *every* new place.
  10. shipping was 25 or so for me and i'm just across the hudson. i wonder if it was the same for everyone? i assumed it was.
  11. i think that rocco has a reputation for being a pretty damned nice guy. i can't see this show changing many peoples opinions. just a thought.
  12. those meatballs might very well be the same meatballs that he ate growing up which inspired him to greatness. and the wine list is probably pretty damned good as well.
  13. at the route 17 chefs central?

  15. i disagree kim. those judges seem to appreciate food, and have a pretty decent knowledge of it, and they're able to articulate what they're thinking when tasting a dish, all while giggling. you can have serious cooking, even with a white horse in the opening sequence. i think anyway.

    Wine Must Change

i'll let you go...this time. i've tried to read this article several times and i still have no effing clue what the author is trying to say. and, is wine ever bitter?!?!? for me, coffee gets a bit of 2% milk. no sugar, as i'm sweet enough already.
  17. do you think this was all a function of the peoples' size, or rather the fact they had to wait in a horrible hot place for so long. skinny people get like that too, i dare say.

i find that there's too much cheese on the double cheeseburger. in fact, i like just the plain old hamburger the best. just the right balance. the frozen WCs, which were released in 98 according to their website (i could have swore it was before that!), don't come with ketchup. so if anyone is planning on buying them to get that WC flavor, make sure you put ketchup on them. it probably took me about 6 boxes (three drunken nights) to figure that one out.
  21. keep the hostas out of your speakers. that should do the trick. my cilantro (here in NJ) is just about spent as well. had a good run for a few months. now it's just tall stalks and little brownish leaves every now and again. LOL!
  22. Last Friday at dinner time the sign in the window read "closed." I never see anyone in this place. Uh-ohh... grimes' article in the NY Times yesterday didn't mention that.
  23. i gotta think it was for the construction workers.

hehe. i think it's actually because of the way they slide *into* your stomach and down your throat, rather than out.

no shit! i had no idea. edit: that's still very few compared to NJ and the other boroughs of NY. yeah, i figured my impression was wrong. i suppose i've always been nj/ny-centric in some regards. NJ does have quite a few it seems.
