  1. Toba Garrrett has a new book coming out this fall. I believe it's a professional cake decorating book.
  2. thanks for the review! Glad you enjoyed it.
  3. Originally I had heard it would be by the end of the year, but from the look of things, I'm not counting on it! I can't wait; the Montclair store is too congested.
  4. In the Shop Rite I go to it's on the top shelf (red box), next to the Bisquick.
  5. There are many good restaurants in Montclair.....I've heard many good things about Blu, and I'm hoping to try it soon. I'm sure you'll get a lot of suggestions.
  6. Andrea, the cinnamon IS excellent! Everything is so fresh, and the variety of sizes is so convenient. They have very good customer service also. In one order, a jar broke, and they offered to replace the entire order. They also send free samples with each order which is a great way to try things.
  7. Kris, they are good! My kids like nutella and peanut butter sandwiches. I also spread it on poundcake slices, top with sliced strawberries, and grill on the panini grill. Awesome!
  8. Cafe Matisse in Rutherford has a 5 course taster for $95.
  9. My only real "find" was at a thrift shop, where I found Julia Child's The Way to Cook for $8.
  10. Dennis's Hideaway may not be there as I believe he passed away. Fresco's and the Lobster Pot in Hamilton are very good. Fourways has a wonderful restaurant. I've also heard good things about Tom Moore's Tavern, although I've never been there. SHP is a big convention hotel which sits high atop a hill on the south shore. You will need transportation wherever you go (cab, bus, scooter) I would suggest Surf Side, Grape Bay Hotel, Ariel Sands, The Reefs, or Elbow Beach. The Palm at Surfside is also excellent. As for the food, as said, fish chowder (we like the Hog Penny Pub in Hamilton) and fresh Bermuda fish.....fantastic. August 3-4 is a big two day holiday called Cup Match. Most businesses are closed; most restaurants open. In addition, check out the message forum at Bermuda Shorts.bm

  17. Don't count on it. The building was sold. It could be leveled!
  18. I picked up most of my LC on ebay. The outlet in NJ is in Flemington. Prices are still high there, except when they have a sale. There's some good deals on Staub on QVC.

    Le Creuset

Needless to say, I love my LC pieces! I've found some wonderful bargains on ebay, and on occasion at the LC outlet. I've heard good things about Staub also. Mario's are very good looking!
  20. Agree. I was there today. I don't like the Wayne store, but it's more convenient than FP. I bought nuts, pasta, and some frozen fruit bars.
  21. I totally forgot about Sal and Lisa. The Shus made some big changes.
  22. agree Scarlet Knight. I don't recall it ever being BYO. I heard the building was sold; not bad 17 years! I hope they re-open in the near future.
  23. thanks for the info, Susan.
