I may have mentioned it before - I have my own hook cutting side cutters that I use here and in Dunnville - I got them after a particularly bad year up here where I had to get the guys from maintenance in every time I had a hook that needed cutting because my hands weren't strong enough. Today I took out two - one from a guy I took one out of last year! He'd moved to titanium hooks - but my side cutters did yeoman's service and made sort work of them. Probably at least a dozen every year.

I had to make the cake mix and pudding mix version as well as the home made version of Mordor to see how they compared. Cake mix version Home made version. This is darker and less sweet (I invariably cut back sugar). Both are wonderfully moist and deeply chocolatey - we shall see how they fly at work today.

Marketing is clearly their strong suit!

Naught exciting for breakfast except they aren’t supermarket eggs! The bread for work is singing to me having just exited the oven.

I much prefer the peanuts that I purchase from Picards closer to home - I'm annoyed with myself for not remembering to bring some up.

Nothing but the best on the island. Actually it sounds like a fabulous time was had by all and that it was just the perfect wedding for this particular couple.
