The only time I got full blown food poisoning was from my own mother...camping trip ...late for bus ...roast beef sandwich no mayo... 6 hour trip...got lost ...extra 4 hours ...set up and unpack in the dark.....ahhhh eat "bag dinner"...well we were late in the morning right? the groups coolers were put on the bus first and our bags were last....dinner was in a backpack for 10 hours Hey it tasted fine

In Iceland this is Bun day they are cream puffs and after children whack their parents with homemade fairy wands they get to eat as many buns as they gave their parents whacks...... somewhere I have the recipe from my first real cooking job your basic german deli but we used Carolina rice lots of half and half finished with heavy cream mixed with eggs and ....instant vanilla pudding ...it took hours in a double bottom pot on a low flame over 2 stacked burner grates...ahhhhh damn was that good Hot of course with extra cinnamon. Ok thanks to Jasons loverly photos we tried this last night. We tried the potstickers..Tasty, tuna and salmon sushi salad..Amazing, Crispy noodles with giant clam and chorizo..Tasty but the peas fall to the bottom and for mains I had the Lychee Duck with steamed bun and Karl had the Black and Blue Tuna the Duck was pretty good and the fruit relish was great but.......That Tuna was disturbingly bad something close to charcoal lighter fluid maybe but not quite that good......I dunno I have heard of a Mexican herb that tastes like Creosote but this was pretty nasty... kitchen timing was a little clumsy but staff was very nice.....and I did tell them we were there because of Jasons pictures. I guess I would go back......food & tax $72 tracey

i usually just use the mixes ..in the tiny box but have been playing with it lately to make corn pancakes...i buzz most of a can of corn with an immersion blender then add it all to the prepared mix with some cayenne pepper and make dollar size pancakes mmmmm I worked someplace years ago that did blueberry corn muffins, now the only thing better than a grilled buttered corn muffin is a grilled buttered bluberry muffin......except a blueberry corn muffin

I really really used to love Nilla Wafers and cool whip sandwiches i remember eating this while the shopping was still being unpacked .............about 30 yrs ago i used to like it still frozen too....but even better there was this frozen chocolate pudding ............. i dont like anything on my brownies no nuts no icing no cool whip ....just a fudgy death brownie thank you my mother informed me you can add another egg to the mix to make them cakeier.....oooooh yum how bout another

I have been to two events at Tappan Hill and reviewed the menues for one of them....alllllll the menues you can go down scale or up they do have more than one event at a time the bathrooms are very nice they dont have bars for the dining room waitress service only the food was great given the different brides choices my 2 favorite items were from their carving stations during the cocktail hour ....side of roasted salmon with apricot mustard glaze (i make that alot now) and baked ham with chutney on buttered buiscuts a salad with goat cheese crouton had no discernable goat cheese the chatoubriand was....fine, properly cooked wild mushroom rav was very good go for a tasting ...or two their florist is good and they assign you a maitr'd that is at your beck and call for months CONGRATULATIONS

how about sour cherry shortbread using biscuits as individual servings even dust the tops with pink sugar... dont forget platters of chocolate covered cherries and Andies makes cherry thins T
