  2. I suggest using a lower-case "t" to signify teaspoonsful and an upper-case "T" for tablespoonsful. There, I feel that I have contributed.
  3. In the early 1960's, we used to go into Kern's Bar in Allentown, PA with a suitcase, and buy all the RRs we could afford, then sneak em into the dorm. They tasted great back then.

  14. Just about any mixed-greens salad can be improved by throwing in some chunks of apple and of cheddar. Some walnut pieces wouldn't hurt either.
  15. You don't have to smoke beef for very long to impart flavor. I think it's easy to over-smoke beef.
  16. We've got an old Presto 6 qt. that we use occasionally, for things like rouladen, pork and sauerkraut, New England boiled dinner, stew, corned beef and so on. It can be a time saver. I have often thought that a pressure cooker would be just the thing for high-altitude cooking.
  17. Freezing or not freezing shouldn't be a discussion. You roast them. Let them rest a day or two. Grind them and brew them. One of the main points of home-roasting is to eliminate any questions about the storing of roasted beans.

That's really cool, glad it's sold in CT as well so's I can try some now. Thanks, BigBear!!! Make sure you try their Golden Monkey, a Belgian strong ale. Careful though. It's 9.5 % alcohol.
