There's fresh goat in the case of the Mexican market next to the Goodwill on Ambaum in what I would optimistically call Lower White Center.

Eric

Ahh that would be the Guadalupe Market which is technically in Burien. One of my favorite places to shop.

Goat can be found in any self-respecting halal market, of which there are several in Tukwila and the Rainier Valley.

What does goat taste like, hmmmm, maybe like mild lamb? Not sure that's the best description, but the best I can do at the moment....

Most women don't seem to know how much flour to use so it gets so thick you have to chop it off the plate with a knife and it tastes like wallpaper paste....Just why cream sauce is bitched up so often is an all-time mytery to me, because it's so easy to make and can be used as the basis for such a variety of really delicious food.

I've always wanted to try goat.  What does it taste like?

***We had delicious goat (tagine-style) at Lola the other night and I would say it tasted very similar to beef short ribs. No bone but the same melt-in-your-mouth flavor. Loved it, bye the way.

Goat can be really darn good! So good that I'm a bit suprised it's not eaten a lot more over here. I would describe the taste as something of a cross between beef, pork loin, and lamb.
