Hershy was developing a heat-resistant candy bar for military use at one time...I'm not sure if they are available or anything, but an inquiry with the company might be worthwhile.
I have heard from some, that during the first gulf War soldiers got little hershey bars that were wrapped in the desert camo. I don't know if they were any special formula, or just shipped quickly, then kept someplace cool to keep from melting. The people I have spoken with don't remember if they were melted, but believe not... and also don't remember if they tasted different. Beggers can't be choosers eh?
