2002 Las Rocas de San Alejandro

2002 Las Rocas de San Alejandro – from Calatayud (Aragon) – bright raspberry nose, sweet concentrated fruit on palate with little tannin but good acidity. Lush drink-now sort of wine at a great price. I’d put this about equal with the Hecula for QPR. A definite buy by the case for every day use.

We're well on our way through the case of this we picked up a month or so ago for $88 including tax at North Berkeley Imports. I'd completely agree that this is a very nice wine for the price.
