Seattles best deli?

Recommended Posts

Just got back from a little nosh at Tat's. My girlfriend and I walked over for lunch. We got a Tats-rami that had cole slaw and russian dressing and a meat ball sub. The meatball wasn't to my liking but the Tatsrami was yummy!!! and these guys are really nice in there! we asked them to cut each of the 8" subs in half for us because we were going to share and they delivered them to our table already split and half of each on our plates.

We'll definately head back to try other subs. It's not like eating sandwiches in Philly but it's good!

thanks for the report!

vital question - were there pickles? pickles of unusual size? pickles of extraordinary circumfrence?

from overheard in new york:

Kid #1: Paper beats rock. BAM! Your rock is blowed up!

Kid #2: "Bam" doesn't blow up, "bam" makes it spicy. Now I got a SPICY ROCK! You can't defeat that!

i think i know the ones...it's the same story i get from metropolitan markup - but they're not the fermenty kind that almost foam in your mouth all kimchee like. very respectable for garlicky dills, but i'm envisioning what i used to call whole sours...back in my deli-banging days. i'll check it out - thanks lmf.
