Years ago I had an Italian friend that told me one should never put onion and garlic into the same dish. The flavors fight with each other, she said. One overwhelms the other. They do not compliment each other. "It's never done in Italy," she said. "Pick one or the other."

I've not heard this elsewhere, and many of the Italian recipes I've seen do call for both.

So what's the story?

I don't understand why rappers have to hunch over while they stomp around the stage hollering.  It hurts my back to watch them. On the other hand, I've been thinking that perhaps I should start a rap group here at the Old Folks' Home.  Most of us already walk like that.
