Advice on Gigondas

The price in Europe is about $16-18 for Jaboulet's Giogondas. And Jaboulet is a good, very renowned producer/negociant. I don't know that specific 98 Gigondas, but in all probability buying a handful of these bottles can't be wrong. If you like the wine, at $12 it's a bargain.

Make it as simple as possible, but not simpler.

I find the wines of Jaboulet to be underwhelming except for the Hermitage La Chapelle. At $12.00 you can't go wrong though. At $25.00 you could find much better like Raspail Ay or Montirus.

I also think Gigondas is the South's most over rated wine. Almost the price of CNP.
