That's ironic... in Caldwell, there's a Shop Rite that used to be a Chinese restaurant. :blink:

They don't have any duck legs at the Little Ferry Hanahreum because yesterday I bought all 18 of them.

you're joking.

where were they? i looked in all of the meat bins and the butcher area, and didn't see duck of any sort.

In the meat bin farthest to the left, they had packs of three duck legs with a good portion of "hip" attached for approximately $4 per package (give or take depending on exact weight). I bought all of them; they probably hadn't restocked by the time you got there.

Fat Guy--how did the duck come out? Any leftovers?

I thought it came out very well, not that you have to be a genius to make acceptable confit. There are some leftovers, but they'll probably be gone by tomorrow.
