I am looking for information on Eiginsinn Farm. I have tried various searches on the internet with no success. Does anyone know if they have a web site? Also any info on making reservations and if one can stay over night at the farm and if children are welcome would be useful

It's not a B&B - it's a small, rustic dining room that serves about 8. Not a place I would consider child-friendly either. They're just coming off a 4 month hiatus and it usually takes alomost that long to secure a reservation.

A review is posted on Toronto Life's website www.torontolife.com , complete with address & phone #. It is about one hour north of Toronto, IIRC.

Only if you have a plane. Allow 2 ½ hours assuming there are other vehicles on the road.

The hardest part is actually locate the place..

You almost need a GPS to locate it.. It's stored on my car GPS now :)

LOL...duly noted! How much was it when you went? I read it was $250 per head a few years back - has it increased in price?

It was at that price the last time I went.. which was 2 summers ago I think.. And the time before was cheaper.. may be at $150. I can only afford them once every 2-3 years..

But the best thing is you can bring your best wine there.. although we only picked a few half-bottles (like 6-7) for 4 of us.

Another suggestion is skip lunch.. and find a hotel/b&b close by. (I was so full even the next morning I couldn't take any breakfast)..
