Of course, this is true in every kitchen, right? If I were a dedicated vegetarian or had food allergies, I would check for this everywhere. I remember @liamsaunt mentioning that her nephew can't order french fries in places that fry their fish (or maybe just shellfish) in the same fryers as the potatoes.
