Eating during a creative dry spell

Last night was such a night.

Roquefort cheeseburgers & a couple of glasses of Riesling.

Hmm--eGullet meals conceived in moments of quiet desperation seem to be worlds better than meals conceived by a lot of other people at the height of their creative powers.

pasta with butter and grana padano

lasagna

tacos

chilaquiles

or, if it's just me - a tin of tomatoes, a tin of green beans cooked together with some tiny pasta and salt.

very simple stuff....
