Dried fruits

Roz, I was hoping someone else would mention couscous.  A gussied-up fruity couscous is a wonderful accompaniment to simple plain lamb chops or baked chicken or fish.

And Torakris, you need a new husband    Not liking dried fruit in savory dishes?    Tagines, ooh.  Stuffed pork or veal roasts, yes!

Oh, but I like him so

I put them in anyway and let him worry about picking them out!

I too, love all sorts of dried fuit with couscous.

I love dried peaches. I use them in a family recipe for fried peach pies.

I guess I know what I will be making later on today.
