I second the Winding Stair.
A little further from Temple Bar, we liked Sole Seafood. We also went to, and liked, Davy Byrne's, where we had low expectations (we went for the room's artifacts/history) that were exceeded.
Our best Dublin meal was at Dax, a somewhat upscale, chef driven white tablecloth fixed price place, probably a taxi ride away.
Since we definitely weren't driving & wanted to get an overview, Dublin was one of the only cities that I've appreciated taking the Hop On/Off Tour Bus.
Did anyone mention the Guiness Brewery? 😊
