I had a silly thought when I saw the pasta shape.

 

It sort of looks like a retainer for your teeth, or one of those "night guards" that prevent teeth grinding as you sleep. File that under "You know you're old when..." xD

 

If anyone takes one for the team and tries the new pasta shape, please report back.
