Hello Food World!

My name is Michael and have been an avid fan of cooking since I was a young boy watching my Grandmother cook while she took care of me.  These memories have blossomed into my need to watch the Food Network channels 24/7 and my dream of opening a small neighborhood bistro.  I am proud to say that I am known in my family for my recipes and get asked many a time "how did you make that?" or "what is that flavor I'm tasting?".  

 

My reason for being here is two-fold: firstly I work for a software company who caters to the baking industry and we are looking to expand into the cafes and fast food (non-chain) segments, so I am needing to know what the buzz is going on in the culinary world.  Secondly, after reading some posts during my research on viable forums for our needs, I found that this site is like a Food Network directory of information without the commercials and it covers "libations".  Super cool!

 

I look forward to conversing with you all and hope to gain much insight for my professional and personal needs.
