Kerry Beal (The Chocolate Doctor) is featured in an article in the Toronto Star, Thursday, August 21, 2008.  Congratulations Kerry!

It was Beal's own sweet tooth that got her interested in candy making more than a decade ago during a visit to San Francisco, where she found a chocolate-tempering machine for $400 in a high-end kitchenware shop. She began taking lessons with a pastry chef at night, while working in an Ottawa walk-in clinic by day.
