  1. today i am drinking ba xian dancong which i purchased after poetry reading at cha ma gu dao teashop(south silk road tea)
  2. I was for many years a coffee drinker- i still on occasson drink a cup-only if it is brewed properly. i stopped drinking the brew 5 yrs. ago. i never home roasted but enjoyed a cup of moderately brewed cup of coffee prepared with mellita filter and ground with a small grinder. joanne r.
  3. I go to their tea shop occassionally- the staff r friendly and helpful-they r also knowledgeable -i always have a good experience there- joanne r.
  4. there r 2 shops www.jingtea.com in uk and www.jingteashop.com i have ordered from both- it has been awhile since i ordered tea from either-i can't remember the names of teas but i have ordered glass teaware from jingtea.com(the items have arrived safely and r used frequently) and also from jingteashop- joanne
  5. beside www.houdeasianarts.com www.shanshuiteas.com and www.thefragrant leaf .com have some of the best of the best oolongs. i have ordered from jingteashop but i have been disappointed- which teas have u ordered from them joanne
  6. why not try using loose leaf tea-purchase teeli or any other brand of tea filter- u will be surprised how easy it is to prepare your tea of choice joanne
  7. my favorite flavored black teas are from le palais des thes and mariage-freres joanne
  8. this morning i enjoyed 2008 Pin-Lin Bao Zhong from www.houdeasianart.com i brewed tea( 1 tbl) in a small yixing teapot for 3minutes-the second steep was for 5 minutes- beautiful floral aroma and taste my favorite teas are the green oolongs and bao-zhongs joanne

  10. i prepare the oolong -modified gongfu style- the leaves were tightly rolled and after steep the leaves opened-whole large green leaves with little or no stems- i used glassteapot,teapither,and cup

  12. iam drinking today 2008 spring li-shan "da yu ling" soft stem oolong from www.houdeasianart.com they have some of the finest tea- i have not been able to find a puehr that i enjoy since the teas i like best r green oolongs. joanne

  18. i was n nyc today wth my son and his fiancee- it was extremely hot outsde- we needed to rest for a few minutes and also to have some tea, etc- i had heard so many nice things about the tea galley- we were less than impressed with this tea shop- the owner was rude and not very friendly- we wanted some tea-none was oferred to us-we were told that we could have a tea tasting at $24.95 a person- we left and will not return-

  22. I shop at the market Riverside Market quite often, and it amazes me that nothing is happening at that alleged wine shop. I mean, who is paying the rent on that empty space? There is actually one good very wine store in Lyndhurst ("good" being relative to the rest of Lyndhurst).
