Thanx for the sample! my furniture has not arrived yet to Florida- the tea was my first mail!!! i have brewed the tea once gongfu style i do not like it as much as others i have drank not too much of floral aroma-not bitter i thought the brew was just average in my humble opinion joanne r. the new floridian

i am not sure what floral, bamboo, sweet, etc means? sour, dry? is there a common dictionary for words to describe tea- color taste smell

my morning brew today is lanyun winter 2007 fromwww.shanshuiteas.com the dry leaves were long and twisted slightly- the tea liquor is light yelllow - taste is slightly dry, and flowery- joanne it is a green oolong

I have just returned from a 2 week trip to Hallandale Florida- I will be moving from New Jersey at the end of the month- While I was away i used up all of my tea- I went to teavanna for some tea- I purchased 2 oz. of six summits oolong- i prepared it again at home in nj last nite-it was decent but not great-great aroma and smoothe taste-not bitter

i think imho that jeff should try only one type of tea at a time- baozhong first and then more fermented/ oxidized-oolong and to purchase only sample sizes- i purchased most of my first teas from upton bcz of their large selection and variety of teas. and stay away at beginning from earl grey, etc.

Today my son and I went to the tuna cutting at Matsuwa Market in Edgewater, New Jersey-The cutting will be repeated on Sunday at noon and 3 p.m. The market is one of the largest in Northern New Jersey- The fish,vegetables, etc are fresh and probably best in the area. Many ppl from NYC area come to the market to purchase their fish, etc. We bought some of the fresh cut tuna and made our own hand rolls- I bought a can of green teen and jasmine for my beverage-i don't remember the name of the company- The tuna weighed 520 pounds and was caught somewhere near Barcelona-

today at 12 noon and 3p.m. and sunday the same times at Mitsuwa on 595 River Road in Edgewater- my son and i had a great time-it was though very crowded-we bought some tuna and made our own rolls-there is a definite differnece in the taste- there was an explanation of tuna cutting, fishing, and types-

i don't appreciate tenren's sales approach- i prefer to purchase their teas from their website- i enjoy their rose and jasmine oolong joanne

I tried pu-erh one time- i was not impressed but thst was only one time- i would suggest www.houdeasianart.com for samples- u dont have to buy the whole cake, etc. ask guang to help u select the tea- have u read the art of tea magazines-not the best but it has good info and help houdeasianart has magazines for sale- alittle expensive but the pix r beautiful joanne
