  10. i am upset at the response to my post about not liking the atmosphere of this restaurant-- i am almost shamed into trying the food which i will this weekend--the tactic worked- i hope the food is as good as jason and rachel say it is- this past weekend i ate at wondees in hackensack and enjoyed my lunch there. joanne
  11. i stopped by the restaurant on my way back to teaneck from shopping at han ah rheum(ridgefield) and whole foods in edgewater- i was disappointed in the way the restaurant looked-dark, and dismal- i took a menu but did not stay to eat

    i have ordered only my jenaer glass products from them-service was fast- i have recived some free samples from them and they have been good- i find www. uptontea.com and www.thefragrantleaf.com to be better with samples joanne

  15. my son and i ate lunch at chowbatty today- it was a great experience-we had the super thaili plate-thanx for the suggestions of restaurants we also went shopping at patel's cah and carry- i bought fresh tumeric, okra,green chana, greenpeas, long beans,,tindora, and karela- the produce looked good and was priced reasonably- other shoppers helped me pick out the produce- i am using "classic indian vegetarianand grain cookbook" by julie sahni

  17. i enjoy korean teas which i purchase from www.shanshuiteas.com and www.franchia.com- the green teas from both are excellent and you can order sample size teas- shan shui teas has just received new spring 2004 teas- these teas are korean- joanne

I have purchased some samples of spring 2004 oolongs from www.shanshuiteas.com and www.thefragrantlleaf.com My favorites are the 10-20% oxidized oolongs I am also ordering some samples of korean green spring 2004 from shan shui- I have found both companies to be reliable-and the teas above average. I have not been disappointed. I am not connected with either-just a happy customer and tea drinker. The Fragrant Leaf had a tea tasting at the Parrot Mill Inn in Chatham which I attended ;and I had a chance to taste some of their new Spring 2004 oolongs- joanne

  23. Yes, this is the proper way to prepare most oolong teas- water is not boiling-160-180 degrees the tea is rinsed and first water is thrown away-it is rinsed with only a small amount of water- this allows for tea leaves to open-and also" to clean it"

I also purchase tea online- i purchase from upton tea, imperial tea court, le palais des thes, mariage freres, kyela teas, shan shui teas,ten tea, special teas, the fragrant leaf, plus others. you should check out this site http://pages.ripco.net/~c4ha2na9/tea/index.html hopefully you will also read msgs from yahoo group-teamail to give you a broader understanding of tea drinkers- beside purchasing tea on line i purchase tea related books and teapots- joanne
