  1. This thing for dinner.  I was going to fill it with bacon, mushrooms and a couple eggs but had to use the snags instead with some fried onion gravy.

    Was good.

  2. Wifey is not feeling well lately so I cooked something nostalgic for her that her mother use to make.  And as far as I know nobody else.

Left over roast lamb, cut to slices then battered and fried.

  3. The wife likes grilled ham steaks so I got a rolled pickled pork and smoked it for a few hours @107c till an internal of 63c

    Great texture, flavour and juicy.

No doubt I will make grilled ham steaks for dinner sometime soon. So I put this in the Dinner thread...?

was the shank cooked on an outside grill at a high temperature or was it cooked low and slow?

180c outside in the Kamodo.  This time I used lump charcoal and no extra wood for more smoke.

How did it turn out in terms of doneness and tenderness?

Tender fall of the bone but a little tighter on the chew if that makes sense.

    And thank you.

  6. A quick, easy chicken schnitzel with salt and a squeeze of lemon.

Sour cream and sweet chilli sauce for the wedges.

Do you make yours from scratch or like a premade paste?

    I confess I use a jar from Thailand. 😉
