  9. I've found that Spray & Wash works really well for grease stains. Hairspray for ink. Always.

    The coffee did look fine! I've never had it with sweetened condensed milk before. And Tony, you're right. That was a gorgeous backdrop. In the gorgeous backdrop scene.

  15. I had a fantastic vodka from Poland once that had 2 Bison on the label. Wish I could get it here.
  16. Are we talking the entire space? or floor space. My floor space is about 2 1/2 ' x 5'. cabinets, stove, etc. on either side. I'd say alltogether it's 5x6?
  17. I was thinking that the salt seemed a bit heavy, actually. But I'll check when I get home. I think the taste will improve greatly if baked brown.
  18. Glad they came out better. Do you think the cake flour made a difference? From the lack of holes in the crumb, I'd say you should have more water. IF you want that sort of thing. It looks a little dense to me, still. Did you slash it differently? If you changed it on my advice, I meant the other way. End to end rather than side to side. I'd also go for darker. Like DARK. There's an article I have called Why We Burn Our Bread from the March issue of The Breadline. 9th Issue. I'm still thinking about the corn syrup. I wouldn't do it. I'm thinking about the salt too, but will get back to that later.

  23. I'm glad you posted this. I have some that I infused some years ago, and am afraid to drink it now. I used grapes from my grandmother's yard. Really perfumy. And Smirnoff.
  24. At Plataforma? Did you order off the menu, or do rodizio? I don't recall my meat being particularly overdone (we just would send them away if we didn't like what it looked like), just not great.
