Just looked up their circular and you're right. It looks exactly like a vitamix 5200. I will be on the hunt for one as a gift to at least one of my kids and maybe me too just as a back up should my 5200 crap out. I'm known to push it to the limit

While I agree, the timer feature is easier to set on the phone.

I purchased several Cambros of different sizes and shapes back when I bought my Anova One so rarely ever need a pot. The times I don't use a Cambro I have clipped my Anova PC to the sink divider and used the small side of our kitchen sink for things like defrosting. For me the PC being smaller, lighter and with the cord attached allows me to wrap it up and store it in a base cabinet. My hot tap is ~ 130f so it doesn't take long to get to most set temps fast with the PC. After that it really doesn't take much wattage to maintain temp And while I don't have a need to consider the Joule, I'm glad we are seeing more options in ICs.

My Anova is working well so no need to upgrade and figure when the Anova craps out, they will be on Joule v4

Prolonged high heat will burn off the old seasoning. Easy Off or other lye based cleaner will as well. Just protect your eyes and skin from the lye if you use it

Agree with chromedome. Start over and season properly

But what are the bugs that tend to spoil meat and cause it to smell and produce gas? I suspect anaerobic bacteria which staph is one of but is it the most causative? Just curious

We just did a big pantry clean out after seeing these little flyin weave looking bugs. Smaller than a black sesame seed. Got into several spices and my Wondra. Two large pantries were totally cleaned out and organized. Now I can't find anything

I see them on rare occasions. But it's been a while. I agree, where are the yellow beats!!!!! edited to add my favorite are the candy strip beets. Not that they taste that much better but they have visual appeal extraordinaire

May not be a recipe of Deep Run Roots but Vivian's butter bean burgers were what's for dinner tonight. I used a pinch of Spanish smoked paprika in the mix which gave the burgers a smoky quality.

Had chicken tenders from breaking down a couple of chickens. Pan fried and served over salad with a lebneh and mayo based dressing, used sparingly. Exceeded expectations. Love it what that happens

Shain, I grew up eating keskesoon. The little pastas in a tomato based sauce with chickpeas and some times some chuck roast

Funny, Cheereos was the first thing to pop in my head as well when I saw your photo Shain.
