The usual advice is to eat them more regularly to get your digestive track use to them

Food is meant to be enjoyed. Silly rules like breaking pasta and not mixing cheese with fish (both Italian) are irrelevant if that's how you enjoy it. It drives me batty to hear people act like its a cardinal sin. It's not universal it's regional. Since it would be perfectly normal in Mexico for instance to mix cheese and seafood Eat drink and be happy

Made a turkey sausage and chicken gumbo the other night

My wife has been eating oatmeal every morning. I eat it a few times a week but we eat it as a cold cereal. The cold thing is my preference but my wife has come to enjoy it that way too. Toss in some walnuts and it's pretty good with low fat milk or almond milk

I guess they need to move that number up from zero

Wow. Never seen anything like that after 48 hour cook. Are you using a metal rack that could have rusted?

I tried it a few years ago due to the love it gets from some devotees. Still don't get the love I guess I'm not a fan of fast food

I used a Pur facet filter until we remodeled the kitchen and installed an under sink Everpure filter. I didn't have any problem with the Pur filter and we still use a Pur filter in the fridge. I drink a lot of water from the fridge dispenser and it has no off taste to me but maybe I'm just use to it. The idea of a fridge dispenser hadn't crossed my mind. Might be worth looking into. I had one years ago and wasn't satisfied with it, although I don't recall why. Many things have changed in my life, so maybe now it would be more acceptable. The only problem with a pitcher in the fridge that I can think of, is that the water's always cold. No pitcher in the fridge. Water and ice dispenser in the door and a long Pur filter that plugs in near the base of the fridge. Don't have to worry about it being too cold. After filling a few glasses it's no longer that cold

Now to me distilled water taste off due to the lack of minerals.

One can control the heat of chilies a little by how they are prepped. By cutting out the ribs and inner membrane you can decrease the heat without sacrificing the flavor of the flesh

Things from Infomercials that are useful in your kitchen

Oh I forgot I have a veg-o-magic I bought my mom for Mother's Day a lifetime ago when I was a kid. She gave it back to me when she moved out of her house and I can't bare to get rid of it I have never owned a pocket fisherman but my cousin has one. When his wife was away he couldn't find the leash to take the dog out for a walk but spied the pocket fisherman in the garage. So off he went to smoke a cigar and walk the dog. Long story short as a neighbor is walking down the street with her dog his takes off as he desperately tries to set the drag. Weeeee... Very Larry David. Could have been an episode from Curb Your Enthusiasm -

Have a food saver which gets regular use and a large George Forman grill which is taking up space in an upper cabinet. Gave it to the kids when they were in college. Now it's back. In the past I used it to toast a Cuban sandwich and grill some BSCB. It was easy to clean Had a Thunder Stick immersion blender which was a knock off of the Bamix. Used it for quite a few years and it worked well. Better than others I've owned but it finally bit the dust and has been replaced with a Bamix. That's my history with products seen on infomercials. But only the Thunder Stick was purchased from an infomercial. -
How is it like a juicer? Looks more like a blender. It's doesn't strain out pulp does it? Just blends it all down to liquid/fine pulp? Isn't that what a blender does

I've done vegetables at 84C without a problem. Not much past 90-120 min but temps were right on

Dejah, fabulous looking meals

I am continually impressed with the customer service at Anova. When I sent my unit back for the V2 upgrade, a new unit was sent out the same day it was received. All emails have been answered same day. I'm a very happy customer and glad I went with this device

I'm a fan of dry curing/brining over wet brining of a turkey. Just like the flavor and texture better.

Wow, your SideKIC Is still working.

Did they list a 180? They may have done away with the 180 which at the time was medium -

I bought my EP several years ago but I have my fine stone listed as a 220. The medium is 180 -
I wonder that myself. I've made clear stocks and cloudy stock and don't strive for either. They all taste pretty good to me
