I made a batch of the BRM buckwheat pancakes. I used melted butter then oil my flap=jacling skills are seriously rusty. the first 4 were undercooked. the second 4 were better but not picture worthy tha PC's had good buckwheat flavor and I doubt they could be improved very much w a bespoke batter. I used a fair amount of butter between the 4 PC, and they were tasty but they needed syrup , of your favorite kind and more butter conclusion : PC's are really about the butter and syrup , or preserves Ill make 1/2 bath from now on ( 4 PC's ) and find some marmalade or something like that to help them slide right down. I would say , you want buckwheat PC's this mix will work for you as a starter.

the verdict on the Turkey was that it was very good , w nice but not overpowering smoke flavor. My friend prefers chicken to turkey so there is that.

@Duvel very interesting the fish sticks come already coated ? and you have more than ' white fish ' as options ? Id love to try the salmon , not to make the trip for it but , would like to see that say TJ's

@KennethT Id bet there is a way to do it. your ideas are a good start do you mean a pealed potato ? you might pre-micro the potato for a bit to post cooking . not to be contrary if you have an iPot pressure steam in a basket above the water works well.

I tried the Peanut Satay . did not take any pics , as it looks pretty much like the Red Curry. but with a more peanut-brown color. same noodles , same heat up technique . I waited this time , even a bit longer than recommended the added 30 sec to the Nuke. the flavors are on the sweet side , some heat , not very much and some peanut flavor. no peanuts per se. and no peas. I remember these aluminum packs of oozy flavors. there were common ( and probably still are ) in various flavor packs : Malaysian this and that Japanese this and that ( the Japanese seemed to come in a box ) Thai this and that. I collected many of them from my local Oriental supermarket . I didn't use many as I noticed the salt content . perhaps mistake . after all , I want told I had to eat the whole pack. maybe just a little of the concoction would have been fine. I did like the packet of noodles in these two cases wonder I those are around separately .

@&roid excellent thoughts . my tendency , w meat is to think of what Id learned re SV. then remembering those temp move them to newer temps now w a pellet grill. IM wonder what the time w the brisket wrapped 9in the cooler might get some tenderness I will say this : Im eating my friends first WHPS brisket . it's delicious , tender and fantastic next time , a little more surface fat , and then the same or pull off a little earlier and leave wrapped for several hours .
