Made a garlic-rosemary oil and roasted some baby eggplants in it. Tossed with penne. Shaved Ricotta Salata. A little Parmigiano. Foccacia with caramelized onions. Dessert was (homemade, er, schoolmade) plum/blue/rasp/blackberry pie with streusel topping. The end of a bottle of weird wine that's been sitting around for a week.

Cold grilled chicken with spicy barbecue sauce. Wheat crackers, mild cheddar, pieces of deli roast beef. A Bloody. The Brown. Lemonade.
