On my recent trip to Palacios for a birding festival, the meeting spot for our Saturday and Sunday field trips was a place called The Point. The Point was one of the destinations featured in Parts Unknown (Houston - Season 8, Episode 5). I had watched the episode when it aired in 2016, but this was my first time in Palacios and I had not remembered The Point. Grilled Pork Banh Mi

May 31-June 2 - 4 (can not do) June 21-23 - 2 (Cards playing the Angels) July 12-14 - 1 (Cards playing Arizona) July 26-28 - 3 (Cards playing the Astros) * (Sadly have to edit to can not do) * I grew up in St. Louis and still have family living there. The Cards are my team, but I have been in Texas (Austin and Houston areas) for almost 35 years, so that makes the July 26-28 dates my top pick. Go Cards!

I like peanut butter and I like chocolate but not Reese’s. I have never liked peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. And I tried brussel sprouts again recently, but that’s the last time. I like corn and I like green peppers! To each his/her own! 😋

Thank you so much for sharing your trip with us. My husband and I visited Kyoto in January, 2006 to attend our son’s wedding, and our son and his family still live there in Yamashina-ku. It is hard to believe it has been 13 years! Your blog made me go look in the folder I have kept from our trip.

If it were me, I would call customer service. Perhaps there is a problem with the heating element.
